River Island Style Studio: The Pink House Bar

Last month we had the absolute pleasure of meeting with Emily Murray, the founder and creative whirlwind behind blogzine The Pink House. We were immediately drawn to Emily's eclectic style and aesthetic (check out her house here, as recently featured in Grazia!), but also her frankly hilarious take on interior blogging, and when the chance came up to be part of her exciting River Island project, it was one big "hell yeah!" from us.

With the task of styling the bar and studio in River Island's flagship Marble Arch store, Emily carefully selected key pieces from neon art label Bag & Bones, lighting from Buster + Punch and lashings of Raspberry Infused gin from Pinkster. The gorgeous mix of bright pinks and metallics, accentuated with plant and animal life (both real and fake) was a truly winning combination for the bar and studio space, which already was beautifully decorated in distressed mirrors and marbled wallpaper. When it came to The Curious Department, Emily was already a fan of our gold and black prints and mounted butterflies, which became the perfect finishing touch!

And after last night's fabulous A/W Launch Party we can now share with you how absolutely stunning the space looks! Thanks again to Emily and The Pink House for letting us be part of this fantastic project, and also to River Island Style Studio for letting The Curious Department grace the walls of their establishment!
